Travelouge - Alhambra, Granada

Love & Kisses ✿ sha
Alhambra tak pernah masuk dlm my wishlist. Spain pun tak. ntah. coz i dont really like sejarah kot. sehinggalah kami ke Peles Castle 2017 yg lalu. raja Romania ketika itu terpengaruh dgn senibina Alhambra membuatkan dia bersungguh menjadikan satu bilik khas dlm castle tu berkonsepkan Alhambra. pastu ku pun konfius apa yg best sgt dgn Alhambra ni kan sampai raja omputih tu boleh fanatik sgt. tu yg tetiba Spain masuk dlm wishlist 😂

akhirnya bila dah jejakkan kaki ke sini baru la tau... the beauty of this place is unspeakable! mmg antara kota tercantik di dunia!

besar sgt sehari suntuk dlm ni pun rasa tak cukup. patutnya kena jln santai2 tapi nanti rugi tak dpt tgk semua sbb Alhambra tutup pukul 6ptg. if nak dtg mlm kena ada tix lain. kami berjln tanpa henti dr pagi sbb pagi2 tu dah mendaki ke Sacramonte dulu, then baru sambung ke sini. nyesal sbb tenaga dah abis byk kat situ and x bwk bekal makan so lewat ptg after keluar dr situ baru dpt lunch. kalau tau, mmg 1 day khas utk Alhambra sajer and Sacromonte boleh pergi esoknya.

bila tgk gambar di sini ku jadi konfius kenapa mcm semuanya coklat padahal cuaca elok 🤔 then teringat cerita asal usul tmpt ni yg didirikan atas tanah merah. Alhambra, an abbreviation of the Arabic: Qal'at al-Hamra, or red fort, was built by the Nasrid Dynasty, the last Muslims to rule in Spain. so itu la kot. byk gambar kena edit balik sbb terlalu coklat 😂

since kami dr Sacromonte, kena naik 2 bas merah utk ke Alhambra 1.40€ each tix boleh guna 2x.

sampai je terus sewa audioguide 6€ serius berbaloi! sbb setiap tmpt tu takde explanation so korang kena pandai2 sendiri la if takde audioguide ni.

antara byk2 section dlm ni ada 2 tmpt yg paling ku suka. The Water Stairway & The Gardens dlm Alcazaba.

di Promenade of the Cypress Trees ada pokok2 Cypress yg dijadikan mcm gerbang sepjg jln. dlm gambar nampak biasa tapi yg real mmg cantik sgt!

dah abis round kat luar, area Generalife semua tu, baru la masuk ke Nasrid Palace. pjg okeh queue so kena dtg awal 15min before time yg dinyatakan atas tix.
paling cantik mmg dlm palace ni la, penuh dgn ukiran timbul dari lantai hingga ke siling yg tinggi tu ha. and all the beautiful gardens 😍

lepas keluar dr Nasrid Palace hubby dah x larat nak ke Alcazaba so ku meronda sendiri la. naik beratus anak tangga ke Watch Tower and di area tu byk ruins yg tinggi2 mmg gayat gila! Alcazaba ni military complex. bila jumpa pintu ke dungeon mmg excited sgt sbb teringat cerita Memories of the Alhambra 🤣

serius u have to go there and experience it yourself coz yg sebenar adalah jauh lebih hebat drp gambar dan cerita dr mulut org kan. well, at least for me la 😊 so itulah, Istana Alhambra yg cantik tetapi penuh sejarah tragis peninggalan tamadun islam di Andalucia.

...One of the staircases that are in the Court of the Sultana’s Cypress Tree gardens, the Water Stairway, is especially beautiful because of its beauty and originality. It is supposed to be the oldest staircase in these gardens (it already existed in the Muslim period). The staircase is divided in three flights, each with a fountain and handrails that are channels with running water. The staircase is surrounded by laurels that join their crowns and form a vault. The sun shines through this laurel vault and the light contributes to the extremely beautiful scene.

Two regal pleasure palaces, Palace of Dar al-Arusa and Palace of the Alixares, stood on the lands covering the area between the valley of the river Darro and that of the river Genil. They were abandoned and the passing of time has ended up destroying them. Recent excavations discovered them and showed their richness and magnificence, as well as the beautiful decorative elements that have been found.
